It illustrates a simple way to create a flexible thumbnail gallery using
simple CSS; it has the advantage over a table based layout of adjusting
the number of rows and columns to fit the visitor's browser window.
I think CSS has lots of advantages in terms of leaner, more accessible
pages and, most of the time, I'll choose to stick to following it's
standards (even if it means abandoning the first design idea that pops
into my head); the more web designers use CSS, the more browser
designers will be motivated to provide full support for it.
