yast - install postfix, sendmail or exim. out of the box functionality 
if i am not mistaken! speaking of which, if anyone else can help me, i 
am in the process of installing qmail by hand on 9.1, but yast keeps 
bitching that that nothing is providing smtp_daemon if i uninstall the 
three available mtas. there is a fake package available here: 
http://www.csi.hu/mw/fake_mta-1-1memphis.noarch.rpm but it doesn't 
appear to do the trick, probably because it pupports to provide a 
slightly differently named daemon. considering knocking up a qmail rpm 
myself to silence it, any pointers most welcome
