[Gllug] Upgrade RH8.0 to RH9

Dear GLLUGers,

I'm attempting to upgrade using apt-get by editing
/etc/apt/sources.list (comment out references to 8.0 and
uncomment references to 9).

The process duly tells me what packages will be
updated/deleted/installed.  After three conflicts about Java
man pages, I get the following message.

E: Sub-process /bin/rpm returned an error code (255)

Does anyone know how I should proceed?
