That's good to hear.

One drawback though is that you'll have to get the GLC to construct and
police a DMZ between yourselves and Newham. Then again...


Also, may I ask why Itanium? I fully admit that the TPC benchmarks for
Itanium will be excellent.
However, in my limited experience of Itanium servers they are
'enterprise level' beasts, with hotswap everything etc. and you will pay
for this.
Has a RAC cluster of more 'commodity' processors, like Opteron been
considered, (or as I say Nocona)
4-way Opterons are available now.
