This, however, is pretty wrong - the MUA should append the signature to
the end of the message, after the body of the forwarded message.

I'd suggest to the user that they remove their signature seperator by
hand from all forwarded messages.

If they say it's too much effort, tell them to use a MUA which does it
for them.
