Yes, by now we're all aware that apt is a wonderful piece of work and is
available for RPM-based systems. Similarly we're all aware that RPM
doesn't solve dependencies for you and that yum, up2date or apt will.

Surely when someone feels the need to promote apt/Debian as being
superior the correct response is to ignore it - unless it's in response
to a request for a comparison (don't know why someone would do that!)
then it's bordering on trolling and we don't feed trolls, do we? :)
Debian and apt may well be superior, but regardless I've made my choice
- Fedora with yum - so I don't really care about apt.

So, DEB/RPM jihad averted once again, that's it for advice about Java
and RPMs is it? :)
