Also, for information, SuSE have a very useful utility called 'siga'
System Information GAthering.
It is intended for use when making support calls, and as someone who
deals with supoort calls from customers I am all for it...
Anyway, instlal the siga RPM using yast, and run siga.
No need to send us the output...

The module for the SCSI card is just 'advansys'
Try 'tial -f /var/log/messages' and 'modprobe advansys' in another
window.
Will yast not set this card up for you?
