[Gllug] Fixing iTunes style directories to something sane

I've just been given a bunch of music from an iTunes user. 
Unfortunately this means they're all in the directory structure:
Artist/Album/Tracks.  This can be easily fixed for ordinary albums, but
for compilations of various artists you get really crap stuff like:
House of Pain/Tommy Boy Greatest Hits/02 Jump Around.mp3

Anyone got a quick and easy way to turn this all into:
Artist-Album/
with compilations as:
Various-Album/

Ideas?
