Agreed. First published 30 years ago, but the problems are still the

More of a 'must read' than a reference, and it's been around for long  
enough that there's probably a copy in your local library.

I write expect scripts from time to time, and find 'Exploring Expect'  
by Don Libes (author of Expect) essential reference material, at least  
partly because googling for 'expect $topic' is almost never useful.
