Yes, my fault  - it's included the CVS folders in the DEB package, which 
seems to have confused the installer.

To get rid of it, save the attached script, then in the same folder type:

chmod +x remove.sh
sudo ./remove.sh

Sorry about that - I'll post a modified DEB and RPM  in a few minutes.
