[Gllug] Linux install on Toshiba Sat Pro 6100

Hi All,

 

Anyone have any ideas why an attempted install of SUSE9.2 onto my laptop
fails? Firstly booting off the floppy takes around 10 minutes to load the
kernel. Then it fails once the DVD is written. Have tried different floppies
DVD etc. The machine worked under SUSE 9,0, and Windows (dual boot) but it
looks like the upgrade is kaput.. The floppy drive is a USB device, and I
have tried another drive as well

 

Any pointers?
