You could say.

I've often thought that the SPARC family would make wonderful Lisp
machines, or something else where the thing that uses the stack is some
sort of virtual machine that never gets task-switched out. You'd *really*
see some improvements from the register windowing system then, rather
than as now, where the register windows become a boat anchor whenever
you context switch.
