That's an interesting question.  I guess I spend upwards of 8 hours a 
day in front of my computer, I don't recall having eye strain or 
headaches since I started using a TFT.  I run the screen (a Viewsonic 
VP201b) at 1600x1200 / 60hz. It can do much higher refresh rates but I 
need the screen space so I make that tradeoff.
