Yes I have and had similar problems.  I think, from memory, that I only 
resolved it by sending them a letter by registered mail.

I now order from scan.co.uk who, despite everyone else saying they're 
crap, been excellent when dealing with returns.  And decidedly cheaper 
to boot.
