   Thanks for the reply, Digium is a new name to me. All the links I had
seemed to lead to Quicknet Technologies in the USA.
   There appear to be internet connection problems at present, and
everything is taking ages to appear, if it ever does, so I am having trouble
downloading details. I have now found a couple of suppliers in the UK, this
being the first boasting an address within London, so I will read the info
if and when it can crawl out.
   I assume that most varieties will be OK with Linux. Quicknet appear to
supply one range for Linux and another range for M$, although both look
similar and they sell for the same set of prices.
   Solwise in Hull specialise in independant boxes that look like modems,
and some have built-in ADSL routers as well as ethernet ports.
