Perhaps - but in my case it was that the drives had a lack of tolerance for 
wild over-voltage!  Fujitsu/Siemens shipped me a card overnight (I explained 
what I had done) and fitted it to each of the drives in turn.  There was no 
problem with using the same logic card with different drives.
