[Gllug] usb printing nightmare

Can anyone help?  I'm using an hp digital copier 410 on ubuntu 5:04.  It
is a usb printer but try as I might I just can't get it to print.  It's
becoming extremely frustrating.

The printer is detected by HAL and shows up both on device manager and
in the printer section.

Can anyone help please??
