Moscow: one journey price (about 5p) for the whole network, counters that
count UP from when the last train left (and rarely go over 2 minutes),
cooling that actually works, beautiful stations. (Terrible signage
though.)

A nice little bit of trivia: when a suicide bomber blew herself up in a
metro carriage, destroying the train, during the morning peak a couple
of years ago, they had that line cleared and back running by the evening
peak.
But yes, transport here aint too bad. Certainly compared to Sydney, and
we pulled off the (reputedly) best Olympics yet.
