[Gllug] New UK push for EU data retention regulations

Apparently, but I cannot find a confirmative URL just saw it mentioned on an 
Austrian newspaper page, C Clarke is trying to push through the data 
retention on an European level very soon. It mentions something like tonight!
My colleague tells me that he doesnt require approval by the EU Parliament. So 
it's looking rather bad, not quite sure what can be done. Any ideas?
