[Gllug] FC4

Since I installed FC4 my computer runs very slowly (cannot play
powermanga so it's serious) - so much so that sound is distorted. (I
seem to notice this more on the SMP kernel but that's not scientific -
it is an MP box). Still running 2.6.11-1.1396.

Googling reveals nothing specific so rather than trawl through that
looking for a needle in a haystack I thought I'd ask if anybody here has
done this and noticed it and fixed it.
