Sounds only slightly more stupid than "computers for four year olds".
I have to admit that I am not very knowledgeable in that field, but I
haven't seen any convincing use of computer for children yet.

Did you see that "story board" they were using on "child of our
times"?  Sure, it might get them interested in a more virtual reality
but is that what we want?

It all sounds to me like just another facet of the current trend to
put our children as early as possible into the rat race that we call
life.  Competitiveness, competitiveness, competitiveness.  Give them
computers as early as possible otherwise they might fall behind...
