[Gllug] Logo as a first language

The 'Logo as a first language' thread leads me to as a question
about Python.

We had a discussion about the Python study group in the Roi d'Espagne
at FOSDEM. I forget what conclusion we reached, due to an excess
of Leffe Brune. 
Anyway, the topic of the OReilly Learning Python book came up. I've got
both editions (bought second one for the study group) but I've never got
on with it. What are good books for the junior Pythonista?
