When I was still using it I ran Aurora on my Sparcstation20. I used it because a) it worked on difficult hardware (though actually it would only run for a few days before crashing - but the port I was using was pretty crufty if maintained after a fashion) and b) it was Red Hat like so I knew what I was getting.
I have every reason to believe their support for 64 bit machines is quite good.
