[Gllug] problems with grep

Problem solved.

od -a showed that the file had CR NL characters at the end of each line
instead of just NL. It seems that I forgotten to add a wq  command in vi
after I had  issued the set fileformat=unix command.

Oh well I won't make that mistake again(I hope).
