The first post - you have a point and I retract my statement,

The second I am genuinely asking for advice.
If possible I rather them not going back to Windows because they feel left out
and can't enjoy a movie preview @ apple.com/trailers preview movie
.. or play some retro game at some Flash website.

These are not business machines,
They are for family / home & entertainment.
But I did wipe their crippled Windows 98/ME partition.
