[Gllug] x11 blurred on right side only

Hi,

I'm having a problem with X on fedora 3.

xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.FC3.45.2

This might sound odd, but my screen focus degrades from perfect on the left
to slightly fuzzy at the right side. Before the jokes roll in, yes I can
see okay. ;-)

I have:

* swapped the video card
* swapped the monitor
* swapped the cable
* changed resolutions

Only changing resolutions seems to work, but the card does support
1280x1024.

This problem only began on running "yum update" (which included x11
updates).

Hardware info:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82815 CGC [Chipset \
Graphics Controller] (rev 02) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
   Subsystem: Compaq Computer Corporation: Unknown device 0019
   Flags: bus master, 66Mhz, medium devsel, latency 0, IRQ 10
   Memory at 44000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64M]
   Memory at 40300000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
   Capabilities: <available only to root>

I have attached my xorg.conf to this mail. I'm using the i810 driver.

One strategy would be to regress the x11 updates but I'd rather not if
there is an easy way to fix this.

Apologies if the supplied info is also slightly fuzzy, but I'm not sure
what else to say. Please help before I have a squint for life!

cheers,

ben.
