Seriously

Thanks a lot for the person who donated the green frog/tadpole.
After spending weeks on end struggling with a broken Conexant modem
and the dreary BT Voyager
I stood shocked that after just 10 minutes or downloading/extracting
and ppp confinging via the script ..
the same Speedtouch script smiles and says:
"I can see the Net from here ..."

The script even knew the UK VP/VT 0 38 numbers.

Brilliant stuff.
Live and learn.
This is excellent

If only BT had adopted the Alcatel Speedtouch as their modem,
we wouldn't have so many people getting frustrated when trying to
migrate to Linux.

I still need to restart,
apparently the script has made the connection live upon rebooting.

The Green Frog Rulez!
