[Gllug] merging PS files // gimp batch printing ?

Is there another way of merging ps files rather than using psmerge? 
(psmerge man page states that psmerge only works for a specific subset of 
documents -- and postscript files generated with pnmtops or gimp don't 
seem to fall under that category).

Alternatively, is there a way with gimp to print several images (one image 
per page) into a single ps/pdf file?
