Since you installed FC4, you've reported a number of problems to this
list.  Since FC4 is working so poorly for you, why not try a different
distro?

Ubuntu seems to be the hot GNOME-based distro of the moment, so it's
one option.  If you want to stick to something a bit more familiar you
could give BLAG a try.  BLAG 30001 was recently released (see the link
below to the release announcement),  It's based on FC3 but with lots
of updated packages and with an emphasis on solid multi-media
capabilities out of the box (it was put together with media-savvy
activists in mind):
