[Gllug] Leased line (& comparable) offerings

I'm in the unenviable position of looking for an internet
connection for work, and I've only got just over 45 working days to get it operational.

I've managed to get what to me looks like a very competitive
quote for a 2Mbit/s LES10 from c4l.co.uk (~£4,500pa).

The new office will be in the square mile, next to the Swiss
Re building (gherkin) and so I expect there are tons of
potential providers. Does anyone have any experience of c4l.co.uk, or of anyone else whom they recommend? I've also had
fairly competitive pricing from IUK.

The internet connection needs to be fairly reliable, as we
host the company's internet services (web, mail, a Citrix
server, etc) on site, and an outage would be quite a problem
(most of our staff are scattered around the world). We're
currently using a 2Mbit SDSL line from Easynet, which is OK,
but has been known to flake out (more so on our SDSL line in
our existing city office, when Monument exchange had 'power
problems'). We'll be on the Monument exchange at the new
place.

Our options seem to be an SDSL line or two, a leased line or a
LES10 (yes, there are people doing stuff with lasers, but I
nobody I've asked seems to have kit in the area).

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to use the leased line
to provide telephone lines (some kind of multiplexing would be
required, presumably?) - I'm thinking that if we have a
leased line, and can use that for telephone lines, we might
not need to get an ISDN30 in for lines (if we got an ISDN30,
we'd probably get 10-15 channels).

Using the internet link to route calls to a VoIP provider isn't
something that's really being considered at the moment, but
might be an option I guess, if anyone knows a decent provider.

I think the budget's going to be around £5k a year for the
internet link, but if it can be used for the phone lines, then
the budget doubles! Those with the money also want to avoid
an initial contract term longer than 2 years.
