Yup. Start with memtest.
www.stresslinux.org is your friend - download and boot.
Or there is a userspace program called memtester, which reserves a chunk
of memory and tests it whilst the machine is stil up.

I assume that it doesn't have an IPMI card, so you don't get hardware
error logs.

Which distro are you using? Are the EDAC modules available - you'll need
a bleeding edge kernel
