I think that's a bit wide of the mark - I did deliberately err on the
side of caution by specifically asking for people's opinion and
feedback, not stating "This is the case".
The source of the 'warning' was a very well respected and senior
security officer in an international bank, and he informed us that the
warning he received came directly from a government paper.
I don't think such a person is likely to be involved in such capers.

Fair enough - you may be right - I emailed the list because I wanted a
measure of opinion because I wasn't sure, and figured if it was
serious, others would have heard from other sources.
