Funnily enough, I'd been thinking of a standing up position, which is OK
for a while for the upper back but tends to get the sciatica going (see
original reference to doing back over in two places with a single
thump...) I can walk for ages but standing can become a problem.
However, the way ahead is probably to arrange a variety of positions -
kneeling stool, reclined and cushioned - not a good idea for long term
use every day due to muscle weakening - and standing. So one can vary
around the muscle groups used.
However, doing this with one 'pooter is going to be interesting. What
can one arrange - I suppose a series of dumb terminals running X (can
one run Win XP to a dumb terminal??) or something on very long leads
that can be swung around into different positions, or something on a
KVM/USB switch..
Anyone got any precedents?

That was on BoingBoing, I thought it was pretty cool too. But having
checked obviously neglected to bookmark it. Rats.
