That kind of thinking doesn't help.

The fact is that all the legislation surrounding it assumes that the ID 
card system is perfect or will be. All the future legislation will also be 
based upon that assumption.

It will work to some extent. The fact that it wont be perfect however and 
will have serious flaws is what will make the liabilities you will have 
under the law all the more dangerous to you.

To simply sit back and act as though it doesn't matter is dangerous.
