[Gllug] Disc Drives

Apologies for the new thread  -  cant find the old one !

I recall the previous discussions concerning various drives and their
reliability.

I happened to shove a Maxtor DiamondMax drive in an PC the other day (one I had
hanging around for some time) and noticed it ran incredibly hot compared
with the other drives.  If these particular drives are unreliable I am therefore
not surprised  !!
