Absolutely.

It is trivially easy to set the MAC on a network interface to whatever you 
want. 

Accordingly all I need to do is to silently watch traffic on your wireless 
network for a short period of time and I will collect the MACs of every 
client - all of which will be sufficient to authenticate me to use and 
abuse the network.

With ecryption there is a barrier to this.
