Good idea. Will post to some usenet and see how it goes.

The mail server and domain are temporary. What we do is use a ddns based mx and put a temporary mail server behind the firewall to receive spam.

Getting put on spammers' lists on purpose is not a good idea.  At uni,
we had a list that we subscribed people to who didn't turn up to the
Unibar on Thursday nights.  It was called the shit-list because the
list address was subscribed to all sorts of crap, from recipe
discussion lists to doctor's lists to car mag lists.  Without that
address ever sending a mail, it was incidentally put on quite a lot of
spammer's lists too.  15 years on and that address is still a special
case in the sendmail rules and burns about 1GB of bandwidth a month.
So if you don't want a permanent burden, don't attract spammers at
all.  Ever.
