for new kit from the US, expect to pay atleast the VAT. If its being 
shipped to a commercial address directly by a retailer, then it might be 
a bit more. Depends on how its declared and what its 'commercial value' 
is judged by the Customs guys here.

I've had major tussles with the Customs guys, even over donated equipment!
