Looks like I'm going with Jim's recommendation. Now the real question is
can I afford to spring for a TV card as well.

It's quite an odd situation haven't had a TV for 7 years and the step
daughter has moved back in with us and has a TV/Video/DVD so I had to
put a TV aerial up, she transfered her license to our address after
years of telling the TV Licensing people we don't have a TV.
So I'm thinking of taking this as a sign that I need to get MythTV
installed around the house.
