Another thing to try, in your xorg.conf, find the settings for screen2, 
and force the resolution manually e.g.:


Section "Screen"
    Identifier "screen2"
    Device "device2"
    Monitor "monitor2"
    DefaultColorDepth 24

    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 24
        Virtual 1366 768
    EndSubsection
EndSection
