Strange. I have two systems side by side, one mounts USB sticks 
automatically, the other does not !
I can't find anything obvious in the udev setup.

I need more info, exactly which rule should say "mount /mnt/removable" 
or "mount /dev/sdb" ?

Thanks. I found the tools I need, that is "dump" and "restore".
