Got it! I am slow to understand
What I made with components was DS9097 to which I connected a single DS1820.  RIIIGHT!

RIGHT!

now I need to make a config file and use cron to do temperature reading every
day at set time AND send the data to mySQL EASY ;-) instead of just sending it 
to /var/log/temp  HUH!

At least I'm sharing the fun I have.
