Realised I was missing $ORIGIN . on the rbl.py-soft.co.uk file.

Without using my ISP as a forwarder:

# host lists.nuclearelephant.com
Host lists.nuclearelephant.com not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

Adding it again:

# /usr/sbin/rndc reload
server reload successful
# host lists.nuclearelephant.com
lists.nuclearelephant.com has address 82.165.184.162

I don't understand why my server fails on its own... :-/
