D'oh, I thought Alexs reply was offlist *blush*

It is just supposed to be an overview... explaining the OID database
with some visual examples (presentation slides of the tree and then some
snmpwalk commands etc)

The application level stuff was going to be a listing of suitable
applications and maybe some screenshots from their websites.

It is a lot actually... Whoever does it should feel free to drop stuff
from that list :-)
