[Gllug] Problems with cpan install

I am trying to install GD::Graph::pie on a remote machine and the
install bombs out with this:

I find the vast amount of stuff that cpan spews our rather intimidation
and wonder if someone could advise on what the best way to go about
fixing any of this is?
