[Gllug] Thoughts on Scalix

Hi Everybody,

 This is my first email to the list so I will try to keep it short.

 My bosses have hit me with the usual "we need MS Exchange now" plea.
They seem to believe that such piece of *it will relieve them of much
work.

We are mainly a mixed shop, *nix server side and Windows on mainly
laptops. They are all Outlook junkies.

  Until now we have had no trouble using Postfix + UW Imap, but they
want more, ie Shared Calendars, Shared Address Book, collaboration
(whatever that is)....

Having looked around and even tested Scalix with its very attractive
free incarnation: Comunity Edition v10, I am highly confused about the
direction they plan to take with v11.

I would welcome any thoughts about either of those two releases, and
the company in general.
