France and Germany are among the largest producers of rape seed oil 
(China, Canada and India the largest) according to wikipedia:

Even tiny overcrowded UK kicks out 1.9% of world production.

Rapeseed oil is the preferred source of biodeisel as it provides more 
oil per unit of land than alternatives like soya. Its currently blended 
(2-20%) to run in older deisel engines but can be used in pure form in 
newer engines.
