Duh, well I guess it'd be deprecated because mod_proxy is now sending
X-Forwarded-For headers ...  Don't know how I didn't spot that last
time I looked at the traced packets.  Anyhow, just need to hack
WordPress and then it should work.  There seem to be modules for
WordPress to support this.
