Ignore the silly "gain" figures.  They are quoted "dBi" which is related
to a notional "isotropic" radiator.  Subtract 3.2 dB from the rated
figures to get dBd which is gain over a dipole - they don't look too
good then.  

Most of those antennas advertised there are either end fed dipoles or
crude colinears.  Neither will work too well in reality.  The only real
advantage is that you can use the supplied feeder to get the antenna
higher up!

There are a large number of designs on the 'net for wi-fi antennas - the
materials cost virtually nothing, so you can try various designs until
you find one that gives you the results you want.
