You tend to find they have your Photo on file. When they are tapping
away on their computers at the front gate it'll come up with your name,
company and photo. While I don't drive, I do know they log you Number
Plate against that information, along with what rooms you go into, where
you swipe etc. Guess that's so that if something does go walkies they
can track it back to a car/person.
The name is purely so they can search their (very slow) system for your
information.
Also if your bringing a guest in for the first time they make them have
their photo taken (It's done at the sign in desk).
While you can wander around the building, you cant get into any of the
TFM's that you shouldn't be allowed to because of the HID tag's. Normaly
if you are going to a TFM in Telehouse East you'll have access to North
as well because that's where Bytes (and thus food/drink) is. It doesn't
work the other way around though (i.e. if your meant to be in North you
can't get into East).
